Board of Directors
Mr. ROBINSON PAN, a Malaysian aged 38,
was appointed to the Board on 27 February 2007 as an Executive Director of the Company.
He was re-designated as the Managing Director on 23 April 2007. Mr Robinson Pan brings
with him vast experience in strategic management and has been tasked to turn around the Company.
Mr Pan graduated with honours from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Arts majoring
in Economics in 1992. In 1995, he gained his Certificate in Training & Development with the
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, United Kingdom. In 1996, he completed the ISO 9000
Total Quality Management and Internal Quality Audit Consultancy Program. In 2003,
Mr Pan completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Program and in 2005,
the Registered Financial Planner (RFP) Program. He is also a Certified Neuro Linguistic
Programming (NLP) Practitioner since 2006.
He does not have any family relationship with any other Directors and/or major Shareholders of the Company.
He has not entered into any transaction, whether directly or indirectly,
which has a conflict of interest with the Company. He has not been convicted of any offences within the past 10 years.
Madam Soo Kuan Yow, a Malaysian , is an Executive Director
and Chief Operating Officer of IAB. Her responsibilities include
overseeing the Group’s overall operations, customer support as
well as product planning and design.
Madam Soo was a co-founder of ISSB, holding the post of Senior
Development Manager where she was responsible for the research,
design and development of the company's software product and
customization projects. She was attached to Cell-Infortech in 1986
for a period of approximately 1 year, during which time she was
involved in the development of Japanese business applications for
Epson Corporation, Toshiba Corporation as well as the Japan
National Bank.
She was instrumental in the successful design and support of
the Group’s products such as WinAcc Business Accounting and
atCom ERM and also helped IAB to obtain the MGS Grant amounting to
approximately RM3.1 million.
As Chief Operating Officer, she is primarily responsible for
the Group’s operations including its customer support functions.
She is also responsible for product specifications and design to
suit market and customer needs. Madam Soo holds a Diploma in
Computer Studies from City & Guilds of London Institute as
well as Accounting from the London Chamber of Commerce and
Industry and is conversant with the Japanese language and culture.
Mr ONG LIANG BENG, a Malaysian aged 53,
is an Executive Director of the Company and was appointed to the Board on 23 April 2007.
He is also the Chief Financial Officer and a Member of the Audit Committee.
His vast experience in finance will be valuable in overseeing the financial management of the Company..
He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 1983.
He has also been a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1983.
Mr Ong was trained with Hardcastle Burton, an audit and accounting firm in London.
Upon returning to Malaysia in 1993, he joined a firm of public accountants Messrs Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad.
He began his specialization in Governance and Internal Audit when he headed the Group Internal Audit Department
of Oriental Bank Group. In 2001, he was contracted to develop Total Internal Audit for Jerneh Asia Berhad..
He has also worked for Hume Industries, Global Union Group, Westmont Industries Group and the General Electric
Company of USA. In 2005, he set up LBO Corporate Consultants which provides Corporate Advisory Services pertaining to Governance.
He does not have any family relationship with any other Directors and/or major Shareholders of the Company.
He has not entered into any transaction, whether directly or indirectly, which has a conflict of interest with the Company.
He has not been convicted of any offences within the past 10 years.
Mr CHONG YING CHOY, a Malaysian aged 52, is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company
and was appointed to thHe has been an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators
since 1982, a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants since 1987 and a member of the
Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants since 1988. He is also a Chartered Accountant having been
registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1982.
From 1980 to 1988, he was attached to a firm of public accountants, Messrs Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad.
Thereafter, he set up his own practice under the name of YC Chong & Co.
His work experience covers auditing, taxation, accounting and financial advisory.
Mr Chong Ying Choy is also a Board Member of CN Asia Corporation Bhd. He does not have any family relationship
with any other Directors and/or major Shareholders of the Company. He has not entered into any transaction,
whether directly or indirectly, which has a conflict of interest with the Company. He has not been convicted of any offences within the past 10 years.
Mr OOI GIAP CH’NG, a Malaysian aged 48, is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company and
was appointed to the Board on 23 April 2007. He is also a Member of the Audit Committee..
Mr Ooi graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Economics in 1983 and
Bachelor of Laws in 1985. In 1985, he entered on the Roll of Barrister and Solicitors of the Supreme Court
of the Australian Capital Territory. In 1987, he was called to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate & Solicitor.
He is currently a partner in the legal firm of Messrs Abdullah, Ooi & Chan, a firm founded by him since 1988.
Has vast experience in the field of legal services over 20 years, mainly in the area of commercial & company litigation,
property conveyance, banking and corporate services for financial institutions and public listed companies, corporate
restructuring and listing and IPO, and all other matter relating to mergers and acquisitions.
Mr Ooi currently sits on the Board of Mulpha International Berhad, Meda Inc. Berhad and CME Berhad.
He does not have any family relationship with any other Directors and/or major Shareholders of the Company.
He has not entered into any transaction, whether directly or indirectly, which has a conflict of interest with the Company.
He has not been convicted of any offences within the past 10 years.
LEE HYUNG-SOO, a Korean aged 49, is a Non Executive Director of the Company
and was appointed to the Board on 20 March 2007..
Mr Lee graduated with a Degree in Business Administration from Keimyung University, Republic of Korea in 1981.
Upon graduation, he started his career with Cheil Synthetic Fiber Inc. in the Department of Planning and
Financial Management. In 1984, he joined Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. as the Team Leader responsible
for business and financial management and subsequently moved to Samsung Entertainment Group Co., Ltd. in 1994.
He left Samsung Group in 1999 and became the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Starmax Co., Ltd. until 2005.
In 2005, he was appointed the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Grandport Co., Ltd., a Company listed on Kosdaq.
Grandport Co., Ltd. has a direct interest of 18% in Infortech Alliance Berhad.
He does not have any family relationship with any other Directors and/or major Shareholdres of the Company.
He has not entered into any transaction, whether directly or indirectly, which has a conflict of interest with the Company.
He has not been convicted of any offences within the past 10 years.
HIROYUKI YOKOHAMA, a Japanese aged 26, is a Non Executive Director of the Company and
was appointed to the Board on 20 March 2007.
Mr Hiroyuki Yokohama is a graduate of the International Economics Department of Chuo University in Japan.
Upon graduation, he started his career with Daido Life Insurance Company of Japan.
He was there from 2003 to 2006 as the Manager of Customer Service.
He is currently Executive Director of USS Securities Co., Ltd and
Non-Executive Director of USS Forex Co., Ltd, both of which are Japanese companies.
He does not have any family relationship with any other Directors and/or major Shareholdres of the Company.
He has not entered into any transaction, whether directly or indirectly, which has a conflict of interest with the Company.
He has not been convicted of any offences within the past 10 years.
